What it is
Denim is sold by fit and by fabric weight. The cut decides whether it suits the wearer, and the weight and elastane content decide how it behaves after a week of wear and after the first wash.
What is included
- Fit consultation across rise and leg shape
- Fabric weight and stretch explained
- In-store try-on with hemming check
- Care and washing instructions
- Exchange within the stated period, unworn
How it works
Fit selection
We work through rise, leg shape and length, which together do more for how a jean looks than the size on the label.
Fabric and weight
We explain ounce weight and stretch content: rigid denim moulds over time, elastane holds shape from the first day.
Try-on
We fit on the body rather than on the measurement, since two identical sizes cut differently will not fit the same.
Wash and care
We give washing guidance that preserves the colour, because most fading complaints are washing, not fabric.
Frequent questions
How often should jeans be washed?
Less often than most people do. Cold water, inside out and only when actually needed keeps colour and shape far longer.
Will rigid denim stretch out?
Rigid denim relaxes about half a size with wear and returns partly after washing. Buy it snug but not tight; buy stretch denim to your true size.
Can you hem them here?
We check length at the try-on and arrange hemming. Original-hem finishing is available on request for models where it matters.
